Marksman photographer

Im not a professional photographer. But i feel i use to take pretty descent photographs. I want to blame it on my camera but could it just be that my photography skills have declined pretty rapidly over the last year? I feel like it has and i blame it on 2gb memory stick. I originally shot in film. And with film you got 32 shots per a roll. I didn’t want to waste a single shot. I was careful to get everyshot exactly how i saw it. When i switched to digital, i was shooting with a 128mb memory stick. Again, very limited when shooting full res. I was good enough to be quick with my camera and was able to get all th shots i wanted. Now that i have a 2gb stick. I shoot without thinking. Im sloppy and unload my camera on objects like like i unload a clip of ammo from a machine gun. Just spraying and paying.

I know im not the only photographer doing this. Anybody can take a uzzi out and hold down the trigger unloading a hundred rounds without aiming. Out of that full magazine of course a couple of those bullets will hit. But a great photographer, a marksman, should be able to get that shot in fewer then 3 rounds if not the first. That is how i want to be when it comes to photography. And even if your just taking photography for fun, learn the insides and out of photography. Don’t just go out and shoot your camera off aimlessly. With that said, ready, steady, fireaway.
